Ashok Kapur, MD, MRCP is a board certified internal medicine physician and gastroenterologist who will provide services for Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center at Memorial Surgical Associates. Dr. Kapur has extensive experience in patient care, clinical research, and teaching.

He can perform all diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopic procedures such as management of upper GI hemorrhage, injection sclerotherapy, and band ligation of esophageal varices, dilation of esophageal strictures, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube insertion. Dr. Kapur can also perform diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and polypectomy, stricture dilation, as well as esophageal pH and motility study, and liver biopsy.
