2025 Prostate Cancer (PSA) Winter Screening

Do you know that about 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime? Prostate cancer can be a serious disease, but screenings can help in early diagnosis. Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center is offering a Prostate Cancer Screening for men age 50 and over or for those with a high risk for prostate cancer.
No appointment or pre-registration is necessary. Results will be mailed to participants.
Date: Friday, February 7th, 2025, from 6:00 – 9:00 a.m.
Basic Screening Includes:
Basic Screening includes height, weight, waist circumference, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, lipid profile (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, cholesterol ratio), chemistry panel tests, glucose, and tobacco status.
Lipid Screening Includes:
- Lipid Profile (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, cholesterol ratio)
Glucose Screening
- Glucose Test
Available Additional Testing:
PSA Screening - Prostate-Specific Antigens (blood test) will also be available to men 50 and older or those at a high risk for prostate cancer.
TSH - Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (blood test)
CBC - Complete Blood Count (blood test)
A1C - Hemoglobin A1C (blood test)
Colon cancer take-home screening kit. Colon screening is recommended annually for adults 50 and older. Tests for colorectal diseases such as cancer, ulcers, hemorrhoids, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures.
Drink plenty of water the day/night before the screening and morning of screening.
- FAST for 12 hours is required. Do not eat or drink anything, except water, 12 hours prior to your Health Screening appointment time.
If you take medication or have a medical condition, please consult with your doctor before fasting 12 hours. If you have a medical condition that requires you to have an early morning appointment time, please let us know!
Take ALL prescribed medications as directed by your doctor. Take the prescribed amount at the time your doctor has recommended.
Payment is required at the time of screening.
No Medicare, Medicaid, or insurances are applicable.
