What screenings will be included?

Blood Pressure, Height & Weight, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Cholesterol Ratio, Triglycerides, Blood Glucose, Chemistry Panel lab test, and Tobacco status. Needle draw (venipuncture) is used to obtain blood for Lipid Profile and Chemistry tests. An optional PSA screening (blood test) will also be available to men 50 and older or those at a high risk for prostate cancer. An optional colon cancer take-home screening kit will also be available. Colon screening is recommended annually for adults 50 and older. Additional optional blood tests will include a Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test, Complete Blood Count (CBC) test, and Hemoglobin A1C test. The Body Fat Analysis test is offered and will be conducted by using a handheld BIA device.

Do I need to fast?

Yes—12 hours. Take medication as prescribed. (We will schedule individuals with diabetes early if requested.) Drinking water is permitted and highly encouraged.

How long does it take?

About 15 minutes. Appointments will be made every 10 minutes.

What does it cost?

The cost of the basic screening and all additional tests (TSH, CBC, A1C PSA, Colon Kits, and Body Fat Analysis) will be paid by the company for all insured employees.
