2023 LCM Outstanding Physician Award Nominees

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center has announced the names of the physicians nominated for the 11th annual Little Company of Mary Outstanding Physician Award. They are Nikola Conrad, M.D.; Frank Hopkins, M.D.; Joanne Leibe, D.O.; Mark Luff, M.D.; and Benjamin Stillman, D.O. This award is named in honor of the Little Company of Mary Sisters - USA, the sponsors of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.
This award is based on outstanding job performance reflecting Memorial Hospital’s Mission Statement and the Core Values of Respect for Human Dignity, Compassionate Caring, Stewardship, Quality and Justice. To be accepted as a nominee, a physician must be classified as a member of the hospital’s medical staff for a minimum of twelve months and be in good standing with the medical staff.
Dr. Nikola Conrad received her master’s degree in physical therapy from Drexel University Philadelphia in Pennsylvania and her medical degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine Grenada in the West Indies. She completed a family medicine residency with a concentration in obstetrics at St. John Providence in Southfield, Michigan. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a family medicine physician at Memorial Health Family Medicine, located at 966 Bartley Street in Jasper.
Dr. Frank Hopkins is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. He attended Ross University in Dominica, West Indies and completed both his internship and residency at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also served as chief resident in medicine. Dr. Hopkins is an internal medicine physician at Memorial Internal Medicine, located at 751 W. 9th Street in Jasper.
Dr. Joanne Leibe received her doctor of osteopathic medicine and masters of public health degrees at Touro University in Vallejo, California. She completed a general surgery residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. Dr. Leibe is a member of the American College of Surgeons and is certified in DaVinci robotic surgery. Dr. Leibe is a general surgeon at Memorial Surgical Associates, located in the Medical Arts Building, Suite 220, at 721 W. 13th Street in Jasper.
Dr. Mark Luff earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. A Major in the United States Air Force, he completed his residency in family practice at the USAF Medical Center at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. Board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Luff served as an emergency and family practice physician at Howard Air Force Base in Panama, and completed a military obligation at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. He is a family medicine physician at Memorial Health Family Medicine, located at 966 Bartley Street in Jasper.
Dr. Benjamin Stillman received his medical degree at Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville. He completed a residency in family medicine at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Stillman provides family medicine services at Petersburg Family Medicine, located at 1003 E. Illinois Street in Petersburg, Indiana.
