Alex Perez, DO

Alex Perez, D.O. was recently appointed to the active medical staff at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. Dr. Perez is a family medicine provider and will begin seeing patients at Huntingburg Clinic in October.

While attending Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, for his bachelor of science degree in biology where he graduated with honors, Dr. Perez worked as a mental health technician at Our Lady of Peace Hospital. He then worked as an ER technician at Baptist Health – Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana, before enrolling at University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky, for his doctorate of osteopathic medicine. Dr. Perez completed a residency in family medicine at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, a program sponsored by Oklahoma State University. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practitioners, and the Catholic Medical Association. Dr. Perez is board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine.
