Memorial Hospital Offers Free Event in Tell City: "Healthy Eating on a Budget for You and Your Family"

Tell City, Ind. – When money is tight and time is short, it may seem difficult to maintain a healthy diet. But mealtime doesn’t have to be costly, complicated, or unhealthy. Eating right can be affordable, convenient, and nutritious. Allison Fisher, Memorial Hospital Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, will share tips and tricks for planning healthy meals on a budget for you and your family during a free seminar, "Healthy Eating on a Budget for You and Your Family," on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. CT in Tell City, Indiana. A free dinner will be included, and pre-registration is required.

Allison Fisher, RDN, CD is a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified dietitian. She graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in dietetics and a minor in organizational leadership and supervision. She also completed a dietetic internship through Purdue University. Allison is currently an outpatient dietitian at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, IN. In this role, she works closely with local doctors to provide patients with education on various topics such as diabetes, weight management, heart disease, cholesterol, etc.

This presentation will be held at the Tell City Depot, located at 333 7th Street, Tell City.
