These sessions are designed for cancer patients, families, and caregivers. Art materials and an instruction book are available at each session; no previous art experience is needed.

This breast-feeding support group is hosted for moms and their newborns. Subject areas include weight checks, mom-to-mom support, and mom and baby transitions at home such as pumping and returning to work and adding solids.

Using current research on baby behavior, our class instructors will help you better understand your baby. Some of the topics include infant sleep, feeding cues, and crying. This class is highly recommended before the birth of the baby, however, it is also helpful within the first 1-2 months of the baby being born. This class is FREE for moms who deliver at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. $15.00 for any mom not delivering at Memorial Hospital. Specific class questions: please call 996-0383.

This option teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in an in-facility environment, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. This American Heart Association is designed for healthcare providers who work in a hospital, clinic or other healthcare facility including a skilled nursing and assisted-living facilities. The course provides the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam. Pre-registration required; class size is limited. *Disclaimer, due to AHA updates, the Refresher class is no longer offered.
